Wednesday, January 22
Rob and I picked up Liz from the airport in the evening. I made a huge sign that said "LIZ!" and had blue faires splattered all over it. Much sqeualing, hugging and giggling ensued upon her arrival.
Thursday, January 23
I woke up at a quarter to six. I had a cup of coffee. I made sandwiches for Liz and I. Liz and I got ready. And at around 7am, we left the house. Quick stop at wal-mart to get breakfast, a disposeable camera, and some film for my 110. Then out to Orlando. Followed Dad's instructions to avoid I4, however he'd written down the wrong road and we ended up overshooting Orlando by about a half hour. We decide to brave the traffic and hop on I4, get to Universal Islands of Adventure around 9:30 or 10. We played DDR, then rode the Hulk, played more DDR, did the doom free fall, then the spidey ride, played more DDR, the dragons were closed so we ate lunch at the big tree. We then did the Fury of Poseidon, more DDR, met Dr. Doom, got a pic with Spidey, did the hulk twice more, then hung out with Dr Doom for quite a while. He's really, really cool. We played yet more DDR. We took a survey. We came home. We're watching TV. This was the best time I have EVER had at a theme park. I've never had this much fun at a theme park in my life. What a day. I want a Dr. Doom plushie. Which they didnt have because the ONLY merchandice they had with Dr. Doom was a keychain. Oh well... one keychain for Kelly, one for Liz ^_^
Friday, January 24
Liz and I got plenty of sleep. We woke up around 11, went to walmart to drop off the film from Islands of Adventure. We then picked up Kurt and Rob from Rob's house, and met Joey at University Mall to play DDR. They have Max2 and 4th mix there. It was awesome. Finally we all tired outselves out so much that we could no longer play, and so we sat in the food court and talked for about an hour. We came home, I dropped Rob and Kurt off. My dad asked me to run to Circuit City and get him a new camera, since the one he'd bought didn't work. I returned the old one. However they didn't have that model, nor did they have any other model that took our kind of memory stick except a more expensive Toshiba. I called dad, and he told me to just get it. Liz and I had dinner with my parents- mom cooked Welsch Rarebit (cheese fondue). It was very yummy ^_^ -- After dinner I called Joey and Rob, and we went to a local bowling alley to sing Karaoke. Unfortunately the bar is very "seedy" as Liz put it, and it was full of smoke. We got to sing two songs, but we couldn't hear ourselves, so we have no idea how we sounded. Anyway the four of us sang Bohemian Rhapsody (sp?) and Love Shack. We came back smelling very much of smoke. Joey and Rob left so Liz and I could get ready for bed.
Saturday, January 25
My mom woke us up to ask us if we wanted to go to Steve's Place (a local family owned restaurant) for breakfast. That sounded good, so we quickly got ready and went out for breakfast. After that, mom and dad went out camera shopping, since dad doesn't like the Toshiba. Liz and I went to Publix to get icing for the cake, icing tips and dog food. We got home and Liz wrote "Happy Birthday Kelly" in Kanji... it's something like "Tan-JO-bee oh-MEH-da-toh" (my name is in english). Then we went outside and sketched in the sunshine in the yard. I tried to draw Dr. Doom, but... I SUCK ;P Anyway, I've commissioned Liz to draw the six patrons and the Mother Goddess, so she drew Skye first, since Skye is my personal patroness. We cleaned up my room a bit, then started playing DDR. People started arriving for my actual birthday party and we played lots and lots of DDR. I opened gifts. Much fun was had. I got some D&D books, the Evolution soundtrack, some images from Liz, some movies from Carla... lots and lots of cool stuff.
Sunday, January 26
I didn't get up until noon, since Liz and I stayed up until near 4am. I've been fiddling with photos and she's been playing PS2 (Jurassic Park: Warpath). Mom's making Curry tonite (YAY!!) It's the superbowl today, and since our local team (the Sucs.. I mean Bucs) actaully made it this year for the first time ever. Liz and I went to Beach Gameland and played more DDR. The Bucs won. Liz played a whole bunch of Warpath while I goofed off. "I stepped in goat." lol.
Monday, January 27
We woke up, played a little warpath, picked up Rob, went to University Mall, played DDR, watched the movie Drumline. We dropped Rob off at home, and Liz and I went to Chilis for dinner and margaritas. I didnt really like the margarita, so I had very little. We then went to Books A Million, where I found a Dr. Doom comic and she bought a novel to read on the way home. We then came home and played more warpath, and went to bed.
Tuesday, January 28
We picked up the film from WalMart- NONE of my pictures came out. Stupid camera. So I stole all of Liz's. Anyway, then we played some more DDR, went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch, then I took her to the airport. I didnt want her to go! ;_; She almost missed her plane, because I didn't know you had to be at the airport 45 minutes early. She made it, luckily!
