    		• WHO IS SAPPHIRE?
    It occured to me that I might need to explain who Kya White Sapphire is. The site used to be completely centered around her, but as it's moved more toward Kelly, and not everyone visiting the site is from the Gargoyles fandom anymore, some of you might actually not know why there's a blue striped, raptor snouted, winged thingy in a lot of my artwork. It all started with the show Gargoyles, which aired on Disney Afternoon back in 1994. In 1995 I logged on to the internet for the first time, with the help of my Uncle James. I very quickly found Station8, which was a fansite dedicated to gargoyles. I started posting in the comment room. Then Gorebash (the site's maintainer) created a chatroom. And very shortly thereafter, the MiniClan was formed. the MiniClan was a group of fans of the show, and we decided to form our own Gargoyles Clan using our gargoyle personnas. Sapphire is my gargoyle personna. That's how it all started.
    Since then it has evolved far beyond that. Part of my faith relies on the Many-Worlds Theory of Quantum Mechanics. Simply stated Many Worlds says that there are an infinite number of universes. To me, therefore, this means there are an infinite number of possiblities. Without going into too much depth, Sapphire is my other-self, she is a form which I can take, but she is still me.

    WHAT IS RAPTORISM?
    I won't go into too much detail here. At one time I had a lot of information (all of it, actually) posted on my site about the details of my faith. Unfortunately not everyone is as open-minded as one might hope, and I found that some of my supposed "friends" were basically laughing behind my back, because my beliefs are too far fetched for them. While I no longer care what these people think, I don't want to open myself up to yet more idiocy, because there's so much to be found on the net. So here is a basic description:
    I pray to a Mother Goddess, though generally she does not affect the reality in which we live. She exists in another reality. In that world there are six elements: Fire, Electricity, Wood, Water, Air and Stone. The Mother Goddess has six children, called Patrons, who represent each of the elements. Their names are Ember, Tempest, Seed, Rayne, Skye and Coal. This Goddess and her children watch over me and give me the spiritual guidance and support I need. And that's all I'm prepared to say on the subject.
